Assignment Description

The Commissioning specialist is responsible for the planning, execution and supervision of Completion and Commissioning activities for designated systems/equipment related to the delivery and integration on several projects.

This position is responsible for providing preparation of control setup, knowledge and assist in operation of process equipment during testing an preparation.

This position is fully mobile with base location onshore Stord. Mobilization to construction site in Stavanger for a period if required. And later offshore.

System responsible for ensuring planning, preparation and execution of commissioning for designated systems in a safe, efficient and timely manner according to Project Completion Strategy and commissioning plans and ensure they meet all client's project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.

• Participate in operation, handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
• Provide engineering input, feedback.
• Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems/equipment, including input to plan.
• Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
• Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
• Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
• Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
• Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
• Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
• Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
• Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities
• Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills
• Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve client's expectations.
• Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
• Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
• Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on

Commissioning plan.

• Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operation.
• Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.

Qualifications

• Longer experience from process control and control room experience is desired.
• BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
• MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
• Experience from NORSOK projects.
• System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
• Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems.
• Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Commissioning System Responsible Instrument and/or SAS will agree goals for his/her performance with the project Commissioning Manager and/or Commissioning Lead SAS & ICT.
