Wood is currently recruiting for a Rotational Support / Remote Engineer - Process to join its to join its UAE business unit: This is a full-time position in Sharjah, UAE.
The rotational support / Remote Process Engineer will provide day to day Process Engineering support for site operations related
queries / activities / risks to delivery of safe, reliable and compliant operations. Collaborates with site based team to
ensure that identified longer term engineering solutions are progressed to the appropriate team to reduce risk and grow
production.

Job Purpose

• Performs day to day Process Engineering support to deliver immediate operations support, working closely with the
  site team to resolve issues under the direction of the Operations Engineering Manager.
• Ensures that asset Process Engineering risks are understood, appropriately risk assessed, and actions driven to reduce
  risk within agreed timeframe.
• Defines process system operating envelopes, monitors health of process equipment using operating envelopes,
  records and investigates excursions outside operating envelopes.
• Monitors Process Engineering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and initiates corrective action as necessary.
• Provides Process Engineering support to technical Management of Change (MoCs) and Engineering Queries (EQs).
• Identifies production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support production forecast and growth.
• Write, review, recommend technical input into Site Operations Procedures (SOPs).
• Provides Process Engineering coaching to Client engineers.
• Generates, revises, reviews discipline Technical Documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

What makes you remarkable?

Education
• BSc or BEng or MEng (UK), BSc (US), or international equivalent in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering
subject.
• Professional accreditation - Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer.

Experience and Job Requirements
• Significant experience in an Operations Process Engineering support role with demonstratable onsite knowledge
including water treatment and cold gas processing.
• Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering, with sound knowledge of the relevant industry codes,
standards and regulations, and the ability to initiate guidance on the appropriate designs and systems to prevent,
control and mitigate risks.
• Sound stakeholder management experience.
