SPIE Global Services Energy is currently looking for Onshore Preparation Team Leader to join its workforce here in Nigeria on ERHA project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the coordination and preparation of all Preventive Maintenance activities in the Maintenance team.
  • To be responsible for the coordination and preparation of all Campaign Maintenance activities in the Maintenance team (Mono-Campaigns, Maintenance Opportunity Works for major equipment intervention, Complex Maintenance operations, FFSD, etc.)
  • To take charge of and ensure the accuracy of detailed technical elements of the preparation phase.
  • To review related Work Orders lists to ensure that all outstanding works in the concerned package/system are fully taken into account during the preparation of each intervention.
  • To follow-up with all concerned persons to ensure that all administrative components of the preparation are correctly and promptly carried out: Work Packs, Materials, Tools, Consumables, Manpower planning, etc.
  • To issue Weekly Global Preparation Reports for all ongoing works highlighting the status of the major elements: WO list validation, Work Pack readiness, Scaffold requirements, Required Tools/Materials, Mobilization forecast, Adhoc team readiness, Global preparation readiness, Execution Status, Work Schedule, etc.
  • To monitor procurement activities and ensure that critical items with long lead delivery impacting job preparations are identified in advance.
  • To ensure proper hand-over of the activity on site before execution, to avoid Safety or unwanted Operational incidents.
  • To organize for Complex Maintenance jobs, Job Risk Assessments, Kick Off Meetings (RLO's), Pre-job meetings (ROC's), etc. to ensure that all concerned persons understand the scope of the activities.
  • To prepare specific presentations and closure reports during the period of major campaign preparations and execution in order to inform Management, highlighting lesson points and making recommendations in order to improve the Planning / Preparation process.
  • To coordinate with his team to issue REX and feedbacks whenever necessary.
  • To arrange specific campaigns frequently to address the Work Order backlog situation in SAP.
  • To ensure technical closure of all Work Orders related to other Campaign activities after the completion of the intervention in order to ensure zero backlogs arising there-from.
  • To participate to the update of all the Short Term, Medium Term and Long-Term Plans for the Maintenance Support entity.
  • To liaise with Maintenance Superintendent and CSR on site to ensure that both Offshore and Onshore teams are always on the same page on the planning.
  • To receive information from Offshore team on plant/equipment histories and maintain up-to-date records for all individual pieces of equipment.

  • He/She performs proper works coordination, activities reporting, equipment condition analysis, in view of maintaining and optimizing the operations and the equipment performance.
  • He/She is responsible for preparation and reporting for Maintenance activities including issuance of dashboards and reports.
  • He/She ensures the issuance and optimization of the Maintenance entity Plans and Practices in view of budget control, production optimization and HSE best Performance.
  • He/She demonstrates personal commitment to the HSSE policy of the Company
  • He/She controls and administers the technical and administrative documentation within the Maintenance entity including engineering and vendor technical documentation and ensures update of SAP and servers.
  • He/She is responsible for ensuring that the equipment registers are kept updated and that maintenance records are validated at proper level, properly reported, recorded and maintained in the dedicated data bases.
  • He/She ensures that the failures, breakdowns, losses of performance are promptly and efficiently monitored using the KPI's and coordinate performance improvement.
  • He/She ensures consistency of the methods used by the various maintenance disciplines.
  • He/She is responsible for initiating, control, and validate the studies aiming at equipment optimization.
  • He/She ensures that the specifications for repair, modifications and materials comply with the relevant regulations, Company rules, technical codes, standards and norms.
  • He/She is the link to strengthen the coordination between Methods team, Site team and Scheduler team, ensuring full and strong involvement of the Scheduler in the daily maintenance subjects, especially with respect to Offshore Support (daily Notifications follow-up and assignment, WO's preparation, Scheduling, Reporting, Closing when due, Backlog clearing, etc.).
