Job Title: Interface Manager - Offshore Projects

About the Opportunity

An international energy operator is seeking an experienced Interface Manager to support the delivery of a major deepwater offshore development project. This role will be responsible for managing critical interfaces across FPSO engineering, offshore installation, subsea systems, fabrication, commissioning, and execution activities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and offshore execution stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between project packages while minimizing schedule risks, technical conflicts, and commercial exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project interfaces across engineering, fabrication, offshore installation, commissioning, and operational readiness phases
• Coordinate interfaces between FPSO systems, subsea infrastructure, floating systems, transportation and installation activities, and offshore execution teams
• Develop, maintain, and manage project interface registers and interface tracking systems
• Identify interface-related risks, schedule impacts, and technical conflicts while implementing mitigation and resolution plans
• Coordinate interface workshops, technical meetings, and alignment sessions between contractors and project teams
• Ensure synchronization of engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and handover milestones
• Support execution readiness activities across offshore construction and installation campaigns
• Work closely with engineering, project management, construction, commissioning, and contractor teams to resolve interface issues before escalation
• Identify and resolve scope gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies between project packages and contractors
• Monitor contractor compliance with interface management requirements and execution plans
• Support technical integration across multiple EPC, OEM, and offshore installation contractors
• Provide structured reporting on interface status, risks, mitigation actions, and critical project impacts
• Escalate unresolved interface issues impacting project schedule, cost, or operational readiness
• Support offshore project governance, planning, and coordination activities throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience within the oil and gas industry or major offshore projects
• Minimum 10 years of experience in interface management leadership roles on large offshore or deepwater developments
• Strong experience coordinating interfaces across offshore production facilities, subsea systems, floating systems, and offshore installation projects
• Proven experience resolving complex technical and contractual interface issues across multiple contractors and project packages
• Strong understanding of offshore engineering, fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning workflows
• Experience working on FPSO, subsea, floating production, offshore installation, or deepwater projects
• Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, cost control, and project execution processes
• Experience with interface management systems and coordination tools
• Working knowledge of Primavera, MS Project, or similar project scheduling software
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage high-pressure project environments with multiple priorities and complex technical interfaces
• Strong understanding of offshore HSE, quality, and project governance requirements

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with international EPC/EPCIC contractors and offshore operators
• Exposure to deepwater offshore developments and subsea integration projects
• Previous involvement in large-scale offshore installation and commissioning campaigns
• Experience coordinating multiple large offshore contracts simultaneously
