We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Process Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing processes within HMO production. In this role, you will act as a key technical expert for spray drying, powder mixing, and packaging processes across both external manufacturing partners (CMOs) and internal production facilities.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Process Development, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure efficient operations, continuous improvement, and successful implementation of new processes.

The Role & Your Impact:
  • Provide technical leadership and support for spray drying, powder mixing, and packaging processes across HMO manufacturing sites and CMOs
  • Act as the interface between Process Development and Product Management for implementation and optimization projects
  • Serve as the main technical contact and consultant for CMOs
  • Support daily operations and troubleshooting activities related to manufacturing processes
  • Participate in project work, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical support to additional HMO production facilities globally
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, User Managers, Supply Chain, and Scheduling teams to ensure smooth operational execution

What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • Master's degree in Food Technology or a comparable scientific/technical field
  • 2-5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within food production
  • Experience with spray drying and powder mixing technologies is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of food technology, biotechnology, quality, and hygiene requirements
  • Experience within infant nutrition or related regulated food industries is an advantage
  • Knowledge of project management and process optimization methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures and international teams
  • Business fluent English and basic German language skills

Travel requirements:
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including extended business trips to Thailand
