Your Role
Within the Software & Automation Department, the Electrical Engineer will play a central role in linking electrical design with production needs. The resource will work closely with the production departments to support and optimize the electrical industrialization phase of automated machines, ensuring that technical solutions and manufacturing processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with regulations.

Your Role
Within the Software & Automation Department, the Electrical Engineer will play a central role in linking electrical design with production needs. The resource will work closely with the production departments to support and optimize the electrical industrialization phase of automated machines, ensuring that technical solutions and manufacturing processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with regulations.
Your Profile
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Collaborate in defining and optimizing production processes for the installation of electrical equipment and the tools required for mass production.
- Evaluate design solutions to optimize timing and quality.
- Define the characteristics of onboard machine electrical wiring (wiring harness), in line with requirements and assembly processes.
- Prepare operating instructions and technical specifications to facilitate the transfer of projects to production, supporting the initial start-up phases.
- Support the Purchasing Department in selecting and qualifying suppliers of electrical panels, contributing to the maintenance of high quality standards.
- Ensure traceability of changes and structured management of technical documentation.
- Collaborate with the laboratory and the involved Departments for prototype validation and continuous improvement of solutions.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent ability to understand electrical and pneumatic diagrams, combined with knowledge of the main technical drawing tools (2D and 3D CAD).
- Good proficiency in the use of measurement, calibration, and sensing instruments.
- Excellent knowledge of the Eplan software.
- Familiarity with SAP, considered a plus.
- Solid knowledge of the main applicable standards, including the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), the EU Machinery Regulation (2023/230), EN 60204 (Safety of Machinery - Electrical Equipment), the Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU), low-voltage switchgear standards (CEI EN IEC 61439-1 and 61439-2), the EMC Directive, and EN 61010 standards.
- Good level of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong results-oriented mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills, with particular attention to managing priorities and timelines.
Required Experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in the role, preferably gained within structured organizations and international companies operating in the metalworking industry.
Required Education
- Technical high school diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Electrotechnical, or related fields.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation Engineering, or similar disciplines will be considered a plus.
