EngineeringIntroduction
Within ASML, the EUV Source Mechatronics team focuses on the dynamic performance of optical elements in the EUV source module. As an intern in this department you contribute to improving how vibration effects from liquid cooling flows are represented in early design stages. These vibrations can impact system performance, so accurate and efficient modelling methods are essential. This internship gives you the opportunity to combine theory, modelling, and experimental validation. You will work in an innovative environment where your research directly supports system performance improvements.
Your assignment
In this internship you will research and improve methods used to represent flow-induced disturbance forces in structural dynamics models. You will explore ways to simplify early-stage modelling while maintaining sufficient accuracy for performance prediction. Your findings will help define improved ways of working for future designs. Your main responsibilities will be:
This is a master's thesis internship for minimum 6 months till 9 months , 5 days per week (4 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of September 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Inclusion and diversity
ASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce. It is the policy of the company to recruit, hire, train and promote persons in all job titles without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
