What You'll Do

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll help deliver high-voltage renewable energy projects from planning through to completion, with support from experienced Senior Project Engineers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the management of HV renewable energy projects valued between £1m and £30m
• Coordinating project resources to help achieve project objectives and meet customer expectations
• Maintaining strong technical standards across projects from 33kV to 400kV
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with health and safety requirements and Powersystems' Priority No.1 focus on Health, Safety and Wellbeing
• Working closely with internal departments to ensure design and installation requirements are properly considered and delivered
• Liaising with key external stakeholders, including DNOs, TSOs, suppliers and client contractors

We're looking for someone with:

• 2-3 years' experience within HV or electrical engineering environments
• Strong technical understanding, communication skills and commercial awareness
• Experience supporting or managing projects within a comparable industry
• An Electrical Engineering degree or HND, ideally with knowledge of HV systems
• A full UK driving licence
• The right to work in the UK
• Chartered status, or working towards IEng/CEng through the IET
