This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. This Position reports to:
Engineering Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities :
Work model: onsite
-Be expert for new products and current products testing in laboratory
-Make new products and current products commissioning standard files to guide site commissioning
-Support or lead site process commissioning for current painting product execution, and guarantee our products have good performance
-Train new guys or customers or someone else who needs to study painting technology
-Support our global projects process execution and guarantee to get a good result for process commissioning
-keep a smart and clear mind to study our competitor's new technology or new applications, always keep sensitive feeling to suggest our company to make correct direction to face the potential risk
-Always keep studying ability for technologies, like robots' system, robots' software, and robots' hardware
-Support our sales team and proposal team for our blue field projects
-Responsible for supplying documentation on schedule of robot scope.
-Support for visualization, electrical- and PLC engineering (interface).
-Obey the work arrangement of domestic and overseas business trips, and report to leader on time.
Qualifications for the Role:
-College degree or above. More than 10 years of experience in painting process of automation system engineering projects.
-Have good experience for offline making
-Have rich painting process knowledge, like vehicle exterior surface painting experience or interior surface painting experience and bumper painting experience.
-Have ability to find out site commissioning issues root cause and solve issues fast.
-Good English communication skill or have CET-4 certification.
-Good communication and writing capability.
-Familiar with Rob studio or robview or shop floor editor software.
-Team work ability.
-Follow company safety requirements and always put safety in priority.
