Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) to support ongoing infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and development of mechanical building systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design of mechanical building services systems
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Interface with external utilities for system connections
• Review, validate, and deliver detailed engineering designs
• Provide technical support throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must have 12+ years' experience in:

• Design and development of:
  • Fire protection systems (hydrants, sprinklers, foam, clean agent systems)
  • Domestic water supply systems (potable and non-potable)
  • Drainage systems (sanitary, stormwater, oily water, condensate)
  • Firewater networks (pumps, storage, distribution)
  • Sprinkler, water spray, hydrant, and hose reel systems

   

• Design complete plumbing systems, including:
  • Domestic cold and hot water systems
  • Utility water supply for maintenance and operational use

   

• Design and coordinate drainage systems:
  • Sanitary drainage
  • Stormwater systems and discharge arrangements

   

• Interface with external utilities for water supply and drainage tie-ins

Project: In-house

Location: Office-based (Qatar)

Duration: 12 months (extendable)

Working Hours: 45 hours per week

Rate: QAR 130/hour
