Assignment Description

• The client's vision is to become the exploration & production company of the future. We plan to achieve that by producing natural resources with low emissions and costs, while at the same time creating jobs, along with values for our owners and the broader society. Measured in production, we are one of the largest independent publicly listed oil companies in Europe. We have big plans for the future, which include further growth and a desire to improve the industry. The client operates 5 assets on the Norwegian continental shelf. We work closely with both onshore and offshore and are involved in projects and ongoing developments. We are also closely involved in the Client's digitalisation agenda.
• We are now looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our team. As Senior Instrument Engineer, you will support and plan activities in order to provide safe, in-control and efficient management of field equipment and systems within domain for Yggdrasil.
• You will need to demonstrate strong commitment to the HSSE, integrity and automation standards within the client when carrying out the responsibilities, delivering safe, efficient and reliable operations within the framework of our management system (BMS). You will support the client common strategies to ensure continuous improvement, standardization and efficient across all the client offshore assets.

Typical tasks will include:

• Technical support resolving direct and short-term actions
• Ensure technical integrity criterias are met and maintained for related performance standards.
• Ensure close cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with design and operation of offshore facilities and systems, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• Experience and understanding related to all relevant discipline standards and guidelines
• Systematic, structured and reliable in the performance of daily tasks.
• Dedication and a personal drive for continuous improvement
• Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English We think you will thrive in the Client if this resonates with you
