JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for RA Chief Project Engineer (Mining) - Expression of Interest (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Kazakhstan

RESPONSIBILITIES

• full responsibilities for delivery of Regulatory Affair Package, Regulatory plan
• Expediting the full package of technical documentation for the regulatory issue;
• full control of issued documents to Expertizing company, constantly update the Main Delivery register;
• full control of archiving the RA documentation;
• focal point between JSC and Client;
• participation in expertizing process;
• support the project with finding answers on regulatory issues and other questions;
• having constant contact with client, participation in meetings, regulatory issues and progress meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• higher (technical) education;
• 10 years within an RoK engineering industry (mining).
• Knowledge, skills, and experience:
• practical skills in working with GOST and SNiP standards;
• compulsory work experience in the oil and gas industry;
• must be able to work within the agreed scope of work and schedule;
• work experience at such stages of the project as conceptual design, preliminary design and detailed design;
• compliance with the relevant requirements in the field of health, safety and environmental protection, the requirements of the norms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as external norms and standards;
• compliance with JSC procedures, international industry norms and standards, as well as customer norms and standards;
• good oral and written communication skills, building good relationships for the purpose of mutual assistance, cooperation and teamwork skills;
• healthy teamwork ethics, positive, enthusiastic, and proactive;
• good organizational skills;
• good reporting skills;
• knowledge of Kazakhstani standards and guidelines in the field of design;
• in-depth knowledge of local environmental regulations, national and international industry standards and specifications.
