This position reports to:
Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams.
The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the ELSP - HUB EUROPE in ITALY. Main stakeholders are production, logistics and maintenance.

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
- Defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget
- Ensuring appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets
- Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implementing improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements
- Ensuring the production process complies with the project targets
- Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project
- Providing support to Production during internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources
- Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices
Qualifications for the role
- You hold a degree in Engineering, preferably in Logistics and Management Engineering or a related field.
- You know the Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- You are at ease communicating in English and Italian
- You have basic knowledge of Data Analysis & Reporting, Project management, Engineering & Manufacturing processes.
- You are business-oriented, proactive, flexible, and a strong team player.
