Job Description

Hill International is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Valencia, Spain, supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a technically strong and practical engineer who can coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities across complex electrical systems.

Experience in port, maritime, logistics or industrial infrastructure would be highly valued, although relevant experience in transport, rail, aviation, energy, utilities, data centres or large industrial projects will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review electrical engineering design and technical documentation.
• Support the management of electrical works during procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, technical queries and design changes.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, mechanical, utilities, communications, operational systems and stakeholder requirements.
• Support the client and project leadership team in identifying technical risks and resolving delivery issues.
• Monitor quality, programme and compliance of electrical works.
• Contribute to progress reporting, technical reviews and project coordination meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree or master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Ingenieria Industrial - Electrica) or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in project delivery.
• Experience in infrastructure, industrial, transport, utilities, energy or complex building services projects.
• Strong technical coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
• Location: Valencia, Spain.
