Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer (Building Services) - Cardiff

Job Description:

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy in Cardiff, is seeking a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering electrical engineering solutions for a range of building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems design
• Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector
• Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software and building regulations
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
