About the job Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer for the Pressure Vessel division; the position is based in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Review the project details, specifications, scope of work etc and liaise with the sales dept to acquire thorough understanding of project requirements
• Facilitate the creation & issuing of Order Confirmation & Production Order (PO) ensuring all the technical details are captured from the quotations and reflecting in the PO.
• Organizing & facilitating project kick off meetings, presenting the detailed scope of work, project specifications, quality requirements and delivery schedule. Minute the discussion and share it with all the participants for record and necessary action.
• Coordinating with Sales & Production teams to frame the project schedule and circulate it internally with the concerned departments (Production, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Stores etc) upon approval from the line manager.
• Facilitate the procurement activities by liaising with the Production and Supply chain ensuring timely delivery of materials in line with the project schedule
• Monitoring project progress daily with the production team and prepare progress reports on a weekly / biweekly basis as per requirement for management's review.
• Liaise with internal departments with an intent to understand & record their concerns and ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner.
• Preparing & maintaining project related documents for project execution, cost control and reporting
• Project Closing by facilitating client FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), recording and mitigation of snags, packing & mobilization to client site.
• Notifying the Accounts for timely invoices as per the agreed payment terms
• Will be responsible for executing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Monitors/ advises/ optimize the usage of company assets on the different sites.
• Provides information to the organization to get materials on time and avoids unnecessary stock.
• Provides the necessary information when material needs to be moved to sites according to Project Plan (PP).
• Assists and analysis the materials requests from sites along with Project Engineer (PE), Project Supervisor (PS).
• Provide with the necessary planning information in regard to the pressure vessels manufacturing in order to reduce temporary storage.

Years of Experience:

• 3 to 5 years preferably from the Oil & Gas/ Fabrication Industry

Qualifications:

• Mechanical or any related Engineering Degree
