Assignment Description

• Responsible for developing and providing high-level Electrical & technology expertise in their field as part of Projects (inc. internal) and Tenders.
• Responsible for producing engineering and design deliverables necessary for Projects (inc. internal) and Tenders while ensuring conformance to codes, standards, work instructions and internal procedures.
• When assigned as Lead Electrical Engineer as part of a Project, responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the discipline engineering team, and manages and coordinates the engineering work relating to the discipline. He/she is responsible for arranging delivery of the engineering work, in accordance with the extent of work allocated to the discipline.
  As a Electrical Engineer:
• Help the Lead Electrical Engineer as required
• Input and support to the preparation of P&IDs
• Perform Electrical design work and drawings
• Write Electrical specifications
• Write material requisitions and support to Procurement
• Follow the client QA Process
• Comply with the Electrical project requirements and applicable project standards and norms
• Deliver project tasks and deliverables on time
• Deliver project tasks and deliverables within budget
• Document and archive the Electrical work
• Support to plant erection and commissioning as required
• Support to QA department as required
• Witness FATs as required Reviewing and managing Vendor documentation as required
• Support QA department with the CE-marking Electrical
• Provide the stakeholders with instrument and measuring competence.
• Handle the instrumental system according to applicable procedures.
• Inform the user of the instrument about accuracy and handling.
• Broaden outside the main area of expertise to be able to interact between technical disciplines

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical engineering, or equivalent
  Other qualifications/knowledge:
• Multidisciplinary Technical knowledge.
• E&IC Engineering knowledge.
• Advanced Expertise in at least one of the specialty is a must: environment control, energy efficiency & valorization, Decarbonization technologies (CCS...), material handling technologies, fluid mechanics (inc. CFD...).
• Fluency in written and spoken French and/or Norwegian.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge in Project Management and Planning.
• Skills in managing professionals, in hiring, developing and assessing people.
• Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software.
  Required skills:
• Strong scientific basis with an appetite for technical subjects.
• Analytical capacity and tenacity to solve complex technical problems.
• Autonomy, initiatives and passion.
• Strong business orientation.
• Organizing and coordinating skills.

  Relevant experience:
• Experience in Project & Team Management.
• Experience in gas treatment, chemistry or petrochemistry industries.
• A high level of knowledge in engineering Design and Electrical Design.
• Experience in similar industries in R&D project management and studies.
