JOB TITLE: Drilling & Wells QA/QC Engineer
CLIENT: Global Energy Operator
LOCATION: Guardia Perticara, Basilicata, Italy
ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Residential
START DATE: July 2026
CONTRACT Annually Renewable Contract
WORKING SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8hrs (up to 10hrs as per contract)
SOW:
His / Her aim is to survey and support the Services Companies on the Drilling Support Base
to establish a robust QA-QC management system that aim at eliminating the NPT. He / She
provides
QAQC support to the D&W service contracts Technical Administrators to ensure the
following:
Ensure that purchasing of equipment comply with Company Rules; Check all PO and
SO to confirm matching with QAQC MS.
Ensure technical / quality receiving inspection of goods while received from vendors
Perform Quality Audits to vendors and Drilling contractors to assess the status of
compliance to contract requirements
Define proper technical specification for relevant storage of DW equipment's
Implement / Enforce and update Service Quality Plans (SQP) as per the API Q2 or
similar standard and as per the service criticality requirement for all service contracts
Promote / follow API Q2 audit plan for all the service contracts. (Schedule,
objectives)
Set and coordinate service Inspection at contractor locations, based on SQP, with
witness by her inspector crew or ad hoc inspection
Before equipment RIG mobilization: Set a release process under DW QAQC to
confirm that equipment is ready to be used (Final Released Note) from stock or from
Service Contractors sutes. Also include waiver system under direct DM authority
(approval)
Implement / follow / update an inspection reporting system (IQ-ALL) for all proprietary
equipment's prepared at the base
Ensure NPT's are recorded into IQ-ALL, rated and eventually properly converted into
GRAL's. Register in and update into an action tracking database (IQ-ALL) - Use of
NPT tracker (IQ-NPT), use of GRALs' module of IQ-ALL for events within criteria of
entry and for follow up on close out of actions (NPT related Incidents, Field NCR,
OFI...)
Provide support and expertise for service/equipment failure investigation
(Troubleshooting, Cause Tree Analysis, etc.)
Perform monthly reviews with each service contractor to track GRAL's progress.
Ensure that all contracted services are subject of Service Scorecard and SQM.
Track progress on all GRAL (continuous improvement) at Drilling and Wells scope
Respond to operation needs for any QAQC / Standards / Actions support.
Actively participate SQM for performance review
Interface with HQ for manufacturing QAQC standards and potential issues on
delivery
Provide monthly reporting
Support operation team to perform audit of Rig Management system, including PMS,
and track progress of audit planning and progress on corrective actions
REQUIREMENTS:
Technical:
At least 15 years working experience on Oil and Gas
At least 10 years of QAQC experience with a minimum of eight associated with
drilling activity (OCTG, Equipment procurement, Service contract QAC)
Adequate knowledge of general drilling equipment but also completion and Well
intervention services.
Good global knowledge of Drilling and Wells operations on RIG
Lead Auditor certification inISO9001/APIQ1
Practitioner certification for APIQ2
Fluent English
Certification mandatory by OT/TL/DW/OPS/QAQC
