To strengthen our teams and continue our development, we are looking for a Design Engineer (M/F) based in Dommartin for our engineering office, Cabinet Russier.

Cabinet Russier is an industrial engineering consultancy specializing in all trades (TCE), acting as both a consultant and project manager for clients across France. We support our clients in their development projects and in the control of their investments.

Recognized by major international industrial groups as an expert in air treatment, industrial fluids, and utilities, our company culture is built on two key pillars: people and technical expertise.

Mission context

Reporting directly to the Director and working closely with the Business Managers, you will join a human-sized organization backed by an international engineering group.

As a true technical key player, you will provide consulting and project management support to contribute to the development of industrial sites throughout France.

Design Engineer (M/F): What will be your roles and responsibilities?

  • 2D CAD drafting and graphic production: Convert preliminary sketches, process diagrams, and zoning plans prepared by engineers and design technicians into digital formats using AutoCAD 2D.
  • 2D / 3D modelling: Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD and develop 3D models using Revit, covering civil works and infrastructure networks (VRD), building structures (structural works, fit-out works, steel structures, partitions), as well as HVAC, utilities, and electrical systems.
  • Site surveys: Carry out dimensional surveys on industrial sites, with or without the use of 3D scanning technologies.
  • Project engineering: Contribute to new-build construction projects and modernization projects of existing facilities (revamping projects).


What profile and skills are required for this Design Engineer (M/F) position?

Experience
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally gained within an industrial engineering consultancy or building engineering environment.


Skills & Competencies
  • Software expertise: Strong operational proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Technical knowledge: Practical knowledge of building structures (steel structures, building envelopes) and/or technical packages (HVAC, utilities, civil works and infrastructure networks).
  • Professional skills: Strong methodological rigor, accuracy in technical drawings, and excellent teamwork abilities (close collaboration with Business Managers and the engineering design team).


Education
  • Bachelor's degree (Bac+2 to Bac+3 equivalent: DUT, BTS, Professional Bachelor's degree) specializing in Building Engineering or Architecture.
