Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certification: Chartered or Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.

Experience

• 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience, with at least 6 years related to the Oil & Gas industry.
• Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Technical HSE Engineering.
• Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in conducting presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for all assigned engineering projects, ensuring technical quality of work while considering quality, schedule, cost, and HSE.
• Conduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects throughout all stages, from concept definition through engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
• Ensure required technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental, and safety policies are incorporated and followed in all work scopes and engineering activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices.
• Support the Engineering Department in reviewing, updating, and applying engineering standards and amendments to external standards.
• Plan and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers to provide timely technical services and meet project requirements.
• Coordinate engineering designs and develop and review multi-disciplinary work scopes for projects and other engineering activities, ensuring comprehensive and clear scopes.
• Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organizations for compliance with scope, and liaise to resolve technical issues.
• Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities. Contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities for effective project delivery.
• Evaluate technical bid packages for scope compliance.
• Review and evaluate contract changes and variations to ensure alignment with approved guidelines and practices.
• Support the development of personal technical competency and skills.
