JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proper selection and combination of foundations, pumps, and related equipment for specific jobs.
  • Knowledge of tubing hook-ups to spools and reels, hydraulic hook-ups to reels and foundations.
  • Ability to identify and communicate problems with reels, equipment, and spools.
  • Operate and maintain all testing equipment associated with visual and dimensional inspection (Mic's).
  • Complete all QT report forms for quality assurance shipping and receiving as required.
  • Comply with ISO procedures pertaining to Inspectors.
  • Demonstrate understanding of MRR procedures and documentation process.
  • Make minor repairs to equipment, hose fittings, counters, rollers, etc.
  • Ability to identify and describe the use of all tube-to-tube and fitting welding components.
  • Properly execute all procedures that pertain to used tubing and waste fluid.
  • Trained and qualified in the proper execution of all tube cutting procedures and use of cutting torch equipment.
  • Follow and lead by example all safety procedures.
  • Qualified/trained for forklift ground guide, crane rigging, and qualified to operate forklift up to 70,000 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Utilize safe work habits.
  • Comply with all applicable HSE requirements as specified in Quality Tubing's HSE Operational Requirement for Roles and Responsibilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
  • 0 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
  • Standing, walking, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.
