Mechanical Field Supervisor

Location: Trinidad and Tobago

Position Overview:

The Mechanical Field Supervisor will be a key player in overseeing the mechanical project operations within the company. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with contractors and ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Major Job Responsibilities:
•           Participate and contribute actively in toolbox meetings with contractors to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
•           Verify materials required by the execution contractors to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
•           Assist in the preparation of Contractor Passes and Exit Passes, facilitating smooth transitions for personnel and materials.
•           Coordinate shared resources (manpower and equipment) amongst major projects to optimize utilization and project outcomes.
•           Participate in daily project update meetings to stay informed and keep the team aligned with project goals and progress.
•           Support Quality Control & Assuranceduring field execution by verifying work against engineering drawings to uphold the highest quality standards.

Shift Details:
•           The position involves managing teams across day and night shifts. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to varying schedules are essential.

Qualifications:
•           Proven experience in mechanical field supervision, particularly in large-scale industrial or construction projects.
•           Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
•           Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and contractors.
•           A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of project execution.
