Mission and responsibilities:

Reporting to the head of application systems within the 'Project Execution Systems' department, you will be responsible for:

• Deploying software infrastructures including: Servers (on-premises/Cloud), databases (SQL, Oracle), software, licensing
• Packaging of engineering software
• Writing deployment procedures.
• Setting up licensing systems (contact with editors)
• Level 2 support for users of engineering software.
• Communicating with editors of scientific tools for incident resolution and deployment of new versions.
• Keeping the repository of available scientific tool versions and their associated licenses.
• Participating in feedback and proposing solutions to facilitate the deployment of scientific tools to users.
• Managing various interfaces of scientific tools.
• Calculation cluster: Administration of the calculation cluster, evaluation of hosted applications, monitoring of calculation nodes, deployment of security patches, management of users and groups.

Without being an expert, you have good knowledge of server infrastructure, Microsoft and Active Directory. You will need to understand the operating principle of these applications to establish the documentation allowing deployment by IT and participate in the resolution of level 2 incidents.

Your role will also consist of assisting the head of computing resources implemented by the service.

Profile :

• With a bac + 2/3 education, you are interested in the management of scientific computer tools for which you have a first experience (minimum 5 years).
• Practical knowledge of scripting tools (Batch, PowerShell) or deployment systems would be a plus.
• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills, both computer and functional.
• In addition, you have good interpersonal skills.
• You speak and write French fluently and you can communicate in English (writing and spoken) in an international environment.
• Occasional travel in France and abroad is to be expected.
