Structural Engineer
NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPC contractor specialized in deep-water works who are looking for a Structural Designer to work on their project based in Monaco.

The position will operate on a contract basis ongoing duration. The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.

Main Mission.
  • As Structural Engineer, you utilize your knowledge and experience of engineering principles and procedures to complete your work ensuring the engineering design is properly translated into drawings, data sheets, and other documents.
 
  • You are responsible for ensuring your design is in compliance with international codes, Company specifications, and industry standards and regulations.
 
  • You may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and delivery of the Package.
 
  • The Structural Engineer must be able to prioritize assigned activities and collaborate with the Discipline Lead, multiple internal disciplines and external parties to deliver a safe, efficient design that meets project requirements.
 
  • Develop engineering documents in a manner that the design intent can be interpreted correctly.
 
  • Complete tasks in compliance with applicable engineering codes, industry standards/regulations and work procedures.
 
  • Proactively provide Discipline Lead with status updates, highlight concerns as they arise, and prioritize assigned activities to meet key milestones.
 
  • Network with stakeholders to serve as a source of support in executing project deliverables; ensure proactive two-way communication.
 
  • Produce consistent/ organized documents in a well-structured format to clearly convey required information.
 
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, third party consultants, etc. to ensure timely review of documents and that comments are made with required quality level.
 
  • Provide timely and accurate input to other disciplines in support of their design requirements and project deliverables.
 
  • Ensure activities and deliverables are completed with consistency and quality and in compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations.

Job requirements.
  • Engineering Structural Degree is MANDATORY
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Knowledge of FEMAP and Genie (as a )
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Open minded, positive can-do attitude, motivated, willing to learn and team player
