Job description
A GIS Specialist is required to support the development of Eni's new onshore and offshore projects worldwide.
The GIS specialist shall provide GIS support into setting up a GIS Model for Eni projects and manipulating data available online and in the company database.
In addition, they shall provide support to the Pipeline design team, shall communicate with design engineers about drafting requirements and work closely with design engineers to work out the drawings.
The draftsperson shall also provide pipeline drawings like:
- Pipeline Field Layouts
- Approach Drawings
- Alignment Sheets (also showing survey information)
- Route Maps
- Tie-in Spools
- Crossings
- General arrangement layouts and Structure related drawings
- Route summary
Experience / qualifications.
Must be experienced in GIS data management and manipulation, onshore and offshore rigid/flexible pipeline routing design and good understanding of structures such as Manifolds, UTAs, SDUs, XTree's, anchor blocks etc.
Shall be familiar with onshore and offshore subsea field architecture.
Strong experience with the following software: Inventor, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks and ArcGIS (including Enterprise Portal development).
Expert in GIS data management, with focus on:
- Setting up new GIS projects, data management and data linking.
- Knowledge of best data sources.
- Knowledge of data manipulation using best geoprocessing tools.
- Provide GIS server expertise and solutions for better integration with CAD systems.
- Develop new scripted tools and templates within GIS as per Engineer requests.
- Provide expertise of third-party tools.
Experience with TEKLA desired, but not essential.
Naval design or lifting/rigging experience desired, but not essential.
