This position reports to
Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for commissioning lead of projects with low to medium complexity, ensuring completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Electrification Business Area based in Hydra; Algeria Main Accountabilities: Contributing to planning and implementation of commissioning activities. Supporting and coordinating the installation/ commissioning activities with the Installation Supervisor / Site Manager. Implementing commissioning design changes and provides mark-ups for as-built project documentation. Participating in internal project review meetings and provides inputs on commissioning activities. Coordinating site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance Certification. Providing relevant information pertaining to commissioning assignments and meetings with customer. Providing relevant information pertaining to commissioning assignments and meetings with contractors/colleagues. Giving feedbacks to the organization to apply lessons learned process. Supporting continuous improvement of project process/product/system design. Using standard processes to ensure all commissioning activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements. Conducting risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning phase to ensure implementation of commissioning plan, identifies and reports potential risks related to contract/quality/program/cost and recommends resolutions to Project Manager and /or Site Manager. Initiating and monitors risk mitigation plan in one's area of responsibility and ensures stakeholders are updated on associated technical risks. Conducting Safety Observation tour regularly to report and mitigate potential HSE hazards to Project Manager and/or Site Manager. Supporting Project Managers / Site Managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.). Ensuring adherence to safety standards. Creating work plans and cost estimates for work in one's area of responsibility to meet contractual obligations in alignment with Project Manager and/or Site Manager. Ensuring quality and timely implementation within targeted cost. Managing external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment, systems, or services in coordination with Supply Chain function, Project Manager and/or Site Manager.

Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 5 years experience as electrical engineer
- Taking in charge field service Electric: MV/LV SWG, protection relais,...
- Experience in MV/LV ABB electrical equipments or similar (Siemens, Shneider, GE, , etc.), good communicative skills
- Experience in oil & gas projects, hands on-site experience (commissioning & maintenance)
