Your role and responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for various service activities at our industrial customers. After extensive training in our electrical frequency converters, you will work independently to service our installations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform service activities according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB's standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Every day you will plan and execute your tasks with a 'first time right' mentality, always striving for customer satisfaction. You demonstrate your expertise by acting quickly and carefully within your area of responsibility, always understanding the sense of urgency. Your responsibilities: - Commissioning of frequency converters. - Implementation of digital services (remote connection, condition monitoring, etc.). - Performing planned and preventive maintenance. - Troubleshooting frequency converters and peripherals. - Providing technical support to customers. - Taking the lead on site and managing colleagues and subcontractors. - Ensuring accurate reporting and administration. - Exploiting commercial opportunities and providing technical support to inside sales.

Qualifications for the role
- Technical education at MBO+/HBO level, preferably in electromechanics or energy engineering.
- Several years of relevant industrial experience is an advantage.
- Customer- and service-oriented attitude with good social and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and be service-oriented.
- Strong sense of responsibility and good analytical skills.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Driving licence B required; you will be provided with a company car.
- Flexibility in working hours, including 24/7 standby shifts.
