Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the completion of testing activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner, and in accordance with contractual specifications, quality standards and safety requirements, as well as test products and systems and validate materials to ensure that they follow pre-written technical specifications. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Area, in the Traction division located in Genoa. You will be mainly accountable for: • Technical Contribution - supporting Engineering in product qualification with type and validation testing. - supporting Test Engineering in designing test systems for optimization of test materials and costs. - supporting test engineers during routine testing of products and systems. - drafting and completing test documentation. • Planning and control - following work plans in own area of responsibility, with attention to materials and costs. - ensuring timely implementation of quality within target costs. - continuous improvement on new testing systems (tools and equipment). • ensuring quality and efficiency of tests independently, ensuring problem solving skills. • supporting risk assessments to ensure safe working systems and take appropriate measures. • assisting with customer or official contacts and communications related to test assignments or meetings. • using standard processes and tools, maintain/calibrate instruments and ability to analyze and repair faults excellent knowledge of measuring instruments (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, probes, etc.).

Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in ability to read and draft electrical schematics.
- Have established skills with Microsoft Office package.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of legislation related to electrical hazards and you are qualified in LABVIEW language.
- You are captivated by aptitude for cross functional relationship with various departments and you are innovative around curiosity and ingenuity.
- You are at ease communicating in Fluent Italian and English.
