Job Summary:

Ensures the facility's implementation and compliance to the applicable regulatory requirements and to the company's HSE Management System.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

• Provide HSE guidance and technical support to management and other employees regarding HSE
  
  policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE-related legal requirements, including submission of required permits,
  
  documents, and paperwork and maintaining required records and documents.
• Work with site management and other personnel in the development and implementation of site
• specific practices and procedures designed to create a culture of safety and injury prevention,
  
  including JHA's, Hazard and Risk Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, etc.
• Document and investigate all work-related injuries and claims; determine root cause(s) and work
  
  with appropriate personnel to develop and implement corrective actions designed to prevent
  
  reoccurrence.
• Identify HSE training requirements and implement programs that ensure personnel are receiving
  
  required training.
• Lead and coordinate in HSE audits and resulting corrective actions.
• Provide accurate HSE data, trend analyses, and associated metrics as required.
• Co-ordinate Industrial Hygiene program and schedule all testing as required, including employee
  
  health monitoring.
• Manage the facility's emergency preparedness and response team and procedures.
• Assist in development/implementation of site-specific practices and procedures.
• Liaise with Corporate HSE Team to ensure common system and sharing of NOV Best Management
  
  Practices (BMPs).
• Provides guidance in ensuring the regulatory compliance of the facility waste management program.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

• BS degree in occupational safety or environmental sciences or engineering.
• At least 5 years working experience in manufacturing or oil and gas industry.
• Good communication skills - verbal and written in English and Arabic
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
• NEBOSH IGC.
• Saudi OSH Registered.
• Certified HSE Internal/External Auditor.
