In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Calibrate instruments according to the applicable standard, specification and revision date.
Control the calibration dates of each instrument issued by the Master Crib system.
Maintain and adjust out-of-specification instruments to comply against standard.
Perform major repairs externally and internally or write off the equipment or instrument if it is not possible to repair it.
Align with audits and inspections of instruments periodically to ensure their accurate functioning and location.
Report the number of instruments calibrated, repaired, those that were rejected from calibration, lost and those that were written off according to the program.
Lead the calibration of measuring instruments to external calibrations.
Verify the characteristics and specifications of the instrument against the standards.
Assign registration codes to instruments in the Master Crib program based on their characteristics and family, ensuring alignment with standards.
Distribute the instruments in the metrology drawers or in the drawers of the different work centers, according to their location.
Control the location and removal of the instruments from the warehouse by means of the issuance of vouchers.
Ensure that instrument changes are in line with production needs and verify the condition in which instruments are delivered according to the procedure.
Establish an instrument calibration and repair program for proper use.
Periodically audit the inventory of registered instruments and verify their calibration and adjustment (point 0) to keep them in use.
Register and code new instruments according to a consecutive register.
In case of loss of instruments, report it immediately for traceability and location within the plant.
Verify and record product batches or Jobs if instruments are found to be out of calibration.
Verification of devices for use in production and engineering processes.
Oracle requisitioning.
Analysis of acquisition of instruments and measuring equipment for new products.
Elaboration and application of monthly and annual budget.
Provide advice or training to personnel in the use and care of inspection equipment.
Follow applicable ES&H procedures, as well as ISO procedures and the standards established in the RIT.
Participate with the assigned philosophy and program in the ES&H culture.
Maintain assigned Lean standards (5's and others).

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5 years of related work experience, preferably in a multi-division, multi-state environment.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge about GDT
- Ability to show promptness and vitality in recognizing the priority of tasks
- Ability and willingness to accept change
- Ability to function effectively in a rapid-paced environment
- Must be able to think logically and creatively to resolve problems and prevent them from reoccurring
- Must be meticulous and conscious of data confidentiality requirements
- Ability to understand processes without every detail needing to be defined
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience with Oracle applications would be preferred.
- Experience with GDT and instruments.
