JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Technician will perform inspection and testing procedures to ensure that products comply with quality standards while adhering to all company policies and safe work practices.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Inspect, reject or accept products according to visual standard, weight, tally, and other Q.C. requirements.
- Documentation and recordkeeping
- Control the removal of monograms from non-conforming product
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in factory environment with a large range of temperature changes
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Standing up to 8 hours daily
- Walking up to 8 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 8 hours daily
- Push/Pull up to 8 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 8 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of verifiable work experience
