Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliverdocumentation (estimations, proposals, clarifications and other information) inresponse to customer requests from early stages (bid-no-bid decision) until orderis booked, including the coordination and development of the proposal in allaspects.
  • Review the value proposition ensuringwe offer the best solution to the customer while being aligned with HoneywellStrategy (Market Verticalization, NPI, other initiatives)
  • Participate inpre-bid meetings, bid strategy and presentations meetings to Honeywellmanagement and customers.
  • Should possess the ability tocommunicate technical concepts and solutions to internal and external customerse.g. understanding site surveys, accurately reviewing customer specifications,and with the ability to identify opportunities, risks, and resources requiredto achieve results within the proposal cycle;
  • Analyze, design and develop viableend-to-end technical solutions for the ICSS business with a primary focus on DCS,SCADA and Process Safety Systems.
  • Translate customer needs and businessrequirements into detailed technical solutions and proposals. Evaluatepotential solutions and systems architecture to ensure that they meet allrequirements;
  • Hold and lead meetings with internalteams, customers, and vendors to review requirements, address openissues/questions, close gaps;
  • Create and MaintainBid Plan and Review / Update Action Rail, coordinate follow-up call, assignactions and support in make them done in the proper time;
  • Support sales andoperations team to create project delivery plan, including labor executionstrategy and customer responsibilities.
  • Prepare full proposal and costing ofall Honeywell hardware, software and services, other 3rd party content,contingencies, etc.
  • Identify external content (3rd party)and interact with Procurement to obtain technical and commercial offers fromexternal suppliers.
  • Estimate internal (1st and 2nd party)content - hardware, software and services - using internal estimating toolset.For complex proposals, can manage and lead a team of estimators.
  • Responsible forcreation/collection of approvals documents and support on the review calls withupper management, including functional approvals, internal approvals andassociated documents.
  • Any additional required approvals: Payment Terms,T&Cs, etc.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering must have
  • Fluency in French, written and verbal
  • Quality oriented, accuracy, ability to follow procedures, support change
  • Technical mindset and integrative thinking
  • MS Office package pro use, Excel
  • A basic understanding of the bid management process and best practices
  • Technical knowledge of DCS, SCADA, Safety Systems or any other industrial process systems: can be field engineering experience or advanced plant control or at least a well-developed sense of the industry and market trends
  • Demonstrated success working effectively in a deadline driven environment
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects/ opportunities at one time

Qualification Preferred
  • 3+ years of bid management or project management experience
  • Knowledge of existing Honeywell Process Solutions portfolio
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience with balancing short-term results with long term strategy
