Plant Operations is part of NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and provides support to the organization in the installation and servicing of numerous SCADA systems, managing medium to large-scale wind power plants. Our mission is to transform a group of wind turbines into a fully operational power plant that meets contractual and regional specifications.
Our primary customers include major power utility companies and professional investors.

Plant Operations is part of NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and provides support to the organization in the installation and servicing of numerous SCADA systems, managing medium to large-scale wind power plants. Our mission is to transform a group of wind turbines into a fully operational power plant that meets contractual and regional specifications.
Our primary customers include major power utility companies and professional investors.
Responsibilities:
- Testing and configuring SCADA servers, routers, PPC, and other hardware in our FAT locations
- Taking ownership of solving specific technical issues in corporation with development team, internal colleagues etc. using the available process in Vestas
- Acting as a backend support to colleagues within the area of expertise
- Participating in strategic projects within the technical field of expertise
Qualifications:
- A degree in Information Technology, Automation, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proficient understanding of industrial electronics and network systems
- Experience working with Linux and Windows server environments
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies
- Hands-on work with hardware
- Proficiency in database management and operations
- Familiarity with SCADA systems or experience in pre-assembly/factory settings involving server technologies
Competencies:
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Strong motivation to learn and achieve success. Openness to providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments as required
- Effective performance in international team environments. Capability to share and communicate technical knowledge with colleagues
- Alignment with the department's goals and objectives. Consistently demonstrate behaviours that align with Vestas' core values
- A valid driver's license is required, and a truck certification would be considered an advantage
