EngineeringAirswift is currently recruiting for a Lead Planning Engineer who will work in Paris for a global energy company.
This is a 12 months renewable contract and you will focus on a complex and key FPSO project for the company.
As a Lead Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for all the scheduling, planning and progress measurement activities for the Subsea package (SPS, SURF), and for the reporting at project level all along the course of the Project.
As such, you will be in charge of:
• Supervising, controlling and coordinating the activities related to Work Packages scheduling and planning and progress measurement; this includes active participation to project integrated project schedule during the Execution phase.
• Developing and maintaining schedules at Package level, with analysis of critical path and potential clashes and proposal of remedial actions/solutions.
• Ensuring availability at all times of an updated and accurate scheduling and progress measurement documentation.
• Ensuring reporting at Package level (issue of Weekly reports, Monthly Status Report...). The Services holder shall liaise actively with all the Package team leaders for all scheduling and progress measurement related activities. The Services holder shall observe and shall impose strict confidentiality during the tendering phase and as a general manner all along the course of the Project. Note: Subsea package / Package means either SPS package or UFR package in this Service Description
To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE and to implement and control HSSE rules and requirements within his UFR area of the services.
2. To develop, implement and maintain procedures, means and tools in order to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the scheduling, progress control and reporting activities.
3. To define (and update as necessary) a suitable Work Breakdown Structure complying with Package needs in terms of progress control and reporting, for all the phases of the Project.
4. To develop, update and revise the Package Schedules as required by Package Management, and to provide analyses and simulations of new schedules whenever required.
5. To comment, challenge contractors' procedures and schedules, scheduling and progress control methodology, and to monitor contractors' execution schedule, to check and approve contractors' progress measurement and progress reports.
6. To consolidate Local Content man-hours for the package (Internal, external).
7. To define (and update as necessary) a suitable Package Weekly (If needed) and Monthly Report structure complying with Concessionaire/Partners and Project needs.
8. To supervise the development of detailed and accurate Package Weekly and Monthly Reports / Participate to Project Monthly and Weekly Reports (and any other report as requested) during all phases of Project. To supervise the reporting issued after Weekly / Monthly Package Meetings and all Package Management meetings as required.
9. As a general manner, to provide assistance to the Package Management for all matters related to scheduling and progress reporting and general reporting, and to manage all activities related to scheduling and reporting.
10.To timely report to the Package Control Lead, highlighting progress and encountered areas of concern.
11.To ensure and impose strict confidentiality for all the scheduling and progress measurement related documentation produced (whatever its support)
12.To gather 'lessons learnt' wrt to scheduling, progress control and reporting matters and provide feedback to other TotalEnergies entities as required.
The activity takes place in the context of the execution phase of a major project in Suriname a land of opportunity, an affiliate being created and whose challenges and scope are currently being defined. The Suriname GPI is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the development studies managed by TotalEnergies OneTech on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of offshore Suriname Block 58. The technical challenges the GPI / Project will face are the reservoirs development and management, the FPSO and subsea production/injection system definition. The Suriname Project will be developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

Candidate's profile:
- Degree: Engineer (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10-20 years of experience in Oil &Gas Industry with similar large-scale projects & environment.
- Perfect knowledge of Primavera, schedule and progress measurement processes requested
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
