We are looking for Experienced Engineers to strengthen our HVAC department in Asker. Currently, we are recruiting for offshore wind projects. As an HVAC System Engineer you will work with system design throughout various project phases and cooperate with other departments and disciplines to find the best solutions for the overall design. Your work will be essential in creating large scale, energy-efficient and reliable systems. HVAC is a critical discipline in offshore wind projects, and your expertise will significantly support the green future we are building.
About the position
As an HVAC System Engineer at Aibel, you will define and size HVAC systems based on contract requirements and technical standards. Typically, you will focus on designing industrial offshore ventilation, cooling and heating systems. This role offers the opportunity to grow through exciting, multidisciplinary studies and EPC execution projects alongside talented colleagues. Responsibilities and tasks include
- Support projects with senior System competence or lead HVAC discipline in projects
- Analyse contracts and specifications, engaging in technical discussions with clients
- Define design basis, system descriptions and HVAC system philosophies
- Conduct transmission loss and airflow rate calculations
- Contribute to the production of 2D schematic drawings (D&IDs)
- Coordinate with other disciplines
Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years' HVAC system engineering experience, specifically in larger offshore projects
- Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in offshore wind projects
