Project Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in Instrumentation and Automation to join NES Fircroft. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading projects and possess excellent project management skills. This role involves managing various projects, including Management of Change closeouts, Fire and Gas upgrades, and modifications on instrumentation, controls, and logic for production enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects related to instrumentation and automation within the oil and gas sector.
  • Oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process, including updating and validating set point registers and Cause and Effect documentation.
  • Plan and execute Fire and Gas system upgrades, including the installation and maintenance of instrumentation and detectors.
  • Implement modifications on instrumentation, controls, and logic to enhance production efficiency and safety.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within the specified timelines and budget.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical, or related field).
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in project management within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong background in instrumentation and automation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience with Management of Change (MOC) processes.
  • Knowledge of Fire and Gas systems and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
