PURPOSE 
Provides project management oversight to protect NGC’s joint venture interest in the safe execution of related projects and/or strategic initiatives within the Projects Division or as required across the NGC Group of Companies (“the Project”) in accordance with agreed KPIs, and all applicable contractual agreements. The Project Manager is accountable for timely planning, allocating, monitoring, and ensuring stakeholders are well informed throughout the project lifecycle in compliance with NGC Project Management Methodology, Joint Operating Agreements any other defined contractual agreements, quality requirements, and resource constraints.


Education:  

• Bachelor's degree in - Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Controls Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Project Management, Construction Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, OR Natural Sciences.  • Fluent in Spanish Language would be an asset  
• PMP certification would be an asset.  
• Certificate in Project Management Professional (PMP) will an asset.  

Experience: 

• At least fifteen (15) years’ experience in project management, engineering management, construction management or related field within an energy-based environment of which five (5) years is at a leadership level, with ten (10) years of experience leading planning and execution several medium sized capital projects or one large capital project.  
• Experience with upstream oil and gas projects particularly in Venezuela using a stage gate approach would be an asset.

Education:
