Job Summary

Job Summary
Works in workshop floor for Manufacturing, assembly, fabrication and testing of Reciprocating Pump units & equivalent PFT (Process and Flow Technologies) products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must comply and ensure that all NOV Company HSE policies and procedures are followed at all time.
- Carryout all hands-on activities and safety in workshop for pump package assemblies, testing & equivalent PFT products.
- Guide third party manpower and contractors and work with them.
- Inspecting & segregating buyout items project wise. Dispatching items job wise as instructed.
- Responsible for material loading and offloading with physical inspection of each material in workshop.
- Organizing & Control workshop tools & machines. Complete daily inspection checklists and routine maintenance.
- Responsible for pump package assemblies, testing & equivalent PFT products under the guidance of Supervisor/Manager.
- Supervising third party manpower and contractors and work with them as needed.
- Inspecting & segregating buyout items project wise. Dispatching items job wise as instructed.
- Responsible for material loading and offloading with physical inspection of each material in workshop, complete the check list and report it.
- Conduct pump units FAT (Factory acceptance Test) as per the FAT Procedure provided.
- Conduct inspection and complete checklist for Pre-FAT and pre-shipping check lists for the job.
- Partial independent decision making for low-risk assembly and testing related tasks.
- Maintains project material records in computer.
- Able to lead and trouble shoot mechanical assembly and testing issues related to skid pump packages (which includes, engine, pump, gear reducer, coupling, belt drive etc.).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- High school secondary education with minimum 6 years of work experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in skid-based rotating equipment packages assembly
- Ability to understand & read technical product specification & drawings and act as needed.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Knowledge of pumps (reciprocating, rotary, PCP etc.)
- Candidate should be familiar with basic computer usage (email, print etc.)
- Ability to lead and trouble shoot mechanical assembly and testing issues related to skid pump packages (which includes, engine, pump, gear reducer, coupling, belt drive etc.).
- Workshop material management
Desirable
- Pre-diploma technical education, ITI
- Hand-on experience of Welding, grinding and gas cutting
- UAE driving license and forklift driving license.
- Basic knowledge of electrical panels and instruments used in skid packages.
