My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer looking to step up, to oversee all civil works for an extensive portfolio of new and existing wind farm projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure for wind farm projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
There has never been a better time to take the leap across to renewables, with a healthy appetite of new and existing projects coming to Victoria, and Australia. My client has an impressive footprint in the renewables sector, quietly achieving highly technical projects throughout Australia and overseas. The projects are located throughout Victoria, and with that would involve regular travel to sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all civil works activities for wind farm projects, including site preparation, access roads, foundations, and drainage systems.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that they are adhered to throughout the construction process.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking key performance indicators and identifying any potential risks or issues.
• Ensure that all civil works are completed in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving any disputes or issues that may arise.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including preparing and presenting progress reports, and attending project meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering wind farm projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Experience with project management software and tools.

Experience within Wind Farm projects is not essential, however experience within a tier 1-3 Australian Civil contractor is. If you are a highly motivated and skilled Civil Project Manager, or up and coming SPE with a passion for renewable energy projects, we want to hear from you.
