The Transaction will transfer all of Shell's interest in the SECP Business to CAPGC. Subject to regulatory approval, the Transaction is expected to complete by the end of 2024. This position is part of the in-scope SECP Business and while the employing entity may initially be SGOP a successful candidate's employment contract will subsequently be transferred to Aster Chemicals and Energy Pte. Ltd. ("ACE") to facilitate the Transaction. From completion of the Transaction, ACE will cease to be a Shell group company and will be owned by CAPGC.
Specific details relating to the impact on relevant employees supporting the SECP Business and timeline relating to the change of employing entities, will be shared with the successful candidate.

The Inspection Engineer reports to the Lead Equipment Integrity Engineer, develop technical solutions and technical assurance for safe operations of Bukom manufacturing site. What's the role?
As an Inspection Engineer, you will be expected to perform the following:
- Provide day-to-day Inspection Engineering services & inputs for stationary equipment and associated piping support to Asset Owner following PEIM requirements.
- Be the focal point to enlist and co-ordinate the use of consultants, contractors and other specialists (P&T) supporting the Production Unit under his/her care in ensuring the technical integrity of the assets and the achievement of pacesetting levels of maintained availability, reliability and facility utilisation.
- Ensure that all assets under his/her care comply with all statutory obligations and that the level of integrity enhances Shell's reputation as a responsible corporate citizen determined to deliver sustainable development and HSSE leadership.
- Maintain independence and professionalism to gain recognition by the WSH, MOM, SCDF, NEA Singapore, that the department can determine the optimum frequency of inspection and maintenance of statutory equipment.
- Work closely with the Turnaround teams and following the best practices in turnaround maintenance, preparing work scopes in advance and helping optimise work scope to help ensure the best overall plant utilisation.
- Support the alignment, standardization and improvement for inspection practices, guidelines and policies.
- Provide advice on static equipment strategies in alignment with PEIM work process.
- Be responsible for developing and tracking of Key Performance of PEI related Indicators (KPIs) to measure/trend activities relating to site integrity performance.
- Plan and perform pressure equipment integrity assurance and provide inspection services to respective PUDT, programs or projects.
- Support the implementation of AMS-MEC pressure equipment integrity process in line with the AMS-MEC requirements. Support the implementation of other work processes such as MOC, ME, ESP and MTO.
What we need from you
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years inspection engineering experience in oil refinery or petrochemical industry.
- Or, degree in Metallurgy/Materials science/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years inspection engineering experience in oil refinery or petrochemical industry.
- Good understanding and familiar with safety practices involved in pressure equipment and piping inspection as well as NDT activities.
- At least API510 and API570 certified.
- Supervisory experience of group of inspectors.
