Our design engineering team will own the design of nuclear valves and valve components in cooperation with the product engineers at different engineering sites of the NBU (Nuclear Business Unit). This includes valve calculations as well as the creation of other derived technical or qualification documents or technical manuals.

Our design engineering team will own the design of nuclear valves and valve components in cooperation with the product engineers at different engineering sites of the NBU (Nuclear Business Unit). In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Do adaptations of existing qualified designs to order-specific requirements in partnership with peers in different global locations
- Perform calculation and design of components following order-relevant nuclear codes and standards.
- Build 3D assemblies / variant designs with the aid of the CAD system Solid Works
- Draft and check of 2D drawings, production documents and assembly documents according to general and internal standards
- Prepare technical documents (drawings, material lists, etc.) or any other technical documents within the project-specific scope and offer general support for compiling the nuclear documents-for-approval files
- Do data management in the ERP and document management.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in valve technology
- MS Office applications proficiency
- Knowledge of one of the following CAD programs: SolidWorks, Inventor
- Good written and spoken English (min. language level B2)
- Openness to travel regularly across Europe (Car driver's license)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Proficiency in either German or French
