Requirements
- Perform substation engineering tasks associated with physical layout design, protection/control design, relay settings programming, field support, substation commissioning, and protection relay testing.
- Create electrical computer models to assist in substation design.
- Create and contribute to substation specifications and construction drawings.
- Manage material purchases and construction contracts.
- Provide direction to designers and CAD operators on your assigned team.
- Engage in customer and vendor interactions.
- Assist in the training other engineers and designers.
- Utilize Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
- One to three years of electrical power and relay protection experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred; passing the PE exam is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
