Join OUR Team! We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer I to join our inclusive and diverse team within the natural gas public improvement industry. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with Engineering Tasks: Support engineering tasks for assigned projects under the supervision of a senior engineer.
  2. Engage in Communication: Participate in all communication related to assigned projects to ensure alignment and clarity.
  3. Track Design Requests: Monitor and apply design requests and details to engineering tasks accurately.
  4. Maintain Deadlines: Adhere to project deadlines as directed by the supervising engineer.
  5. Learn and Grow: Ask questions and absorb information to continuously improve your engineering skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Education: ABET accredited bachelor's in mechanical engineering
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in engineering, with transportation or utility coordination
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles.

  • Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $67,000 and $74,000 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
