NES Fircroft are partnering with a large chemical manufacturer who are looking for a Process Control Engineer to work on their site at Hull. This is a permanent opportunity and comes alongside some fantastic benefits.

As a Process Control Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for all aspects of process automation for a specific asset. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and developing process automation techniques such as:
  • Process control
  • Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
  • Distributed Control System (DCS) hardware strategies
  • Procedures, standards, and documentation

About You:
We seek someone with engineering experience in DCS/SIS systems, including Honeywell TPS/Experion control systems and FSC/SM safety systems, ideally gained in continuous refinery or chemical processes. Essential skills include:

  • Honeywell DCS hardware knowledge and troubleshooting
  • Chemical engineering process knowledge with plant commissioning support capability
  • Strong maintenance practices understanding for managing petrochemical plant availability cost-effectively
  • Ability to handle complex technical situations, innovate, and solve problems effectively, working both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems
