SITE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER - CONTRACT – SURREY THEN TEESSIDE

Our Client, an advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plantscontractor, is currently looking for a Site Environmental Engineer to join the team in January 2025 based in Surrey for 2-3 months, then Teesside.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Candidates must have experience working as a Site Environmental Engineer within the oil and gas industry.
• Expertise in assessing environmental impacts of activities and identifying appropriate mitigation measures.
• Proficiency in developing, improving, and implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and performance evaluations.
• Experience conducting environmental studies, including impact analyses (e.g., VIA, SIA), and proposing strategies for system improvement.
• Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and authorization processes, and the ability to disseminate this information effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate environmental risks during project and execution phases and recommend mitigation methods.

JOB SCOPE

• Assess the environmental aspects/impact of Client activities and identify proper mitigation measures
• Support and guidance for the development and improvement of the Environmental Management system
• Perform studies/analyses on subject related to environmental issues
• Provide guidelines for the management of the environmental aspects to projects/companies
• Analyze the activities environmental impact, both for project and execution phases
• Identify and develop proper mitigation measures and methods to be implemented for reduction of the environmental impact
• Provide support for the development and improvement of the environmental management system and performances of
• Our Client’s Companies/projects
• Develop specific studies and global analysis to evaluate and improve the environmental system in normal and upset conditions
• Perform analysis and studies on the environment impact by the impact studies and evaluations (VIA, SIA)
• Update and spread the laws knowledge and the authorizing processes related to the environment both for global site/technical devises and specific environmental subjects

RATE:                          Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.

DURATION:                   Starting between January and March 2025 then ongoing.
