Due to a number of recent contract awards, the Genesis France Environment team is expanding and we are currently seeking a motivated junior / graduate environmental engineer. We have a highly skilled team encompassing a diverse range of skills including engineers, ecology experts, marine biologists, chemists, energy transition engineers, sustainability experts and GIS specialists.
The successful candidate will primarily be involved in delivering environmental, sustainability and new energy/ energy transition studies to support successful project outcomes and will be part of project teams interacting with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work as part of the highly skilled Environmental Team within Genesis, supporting a wide range of clients on varied and interesting contracts and projects related primarily to the energy industry.
You will also interface with the wider Genesis organization through interactions with other discipline teams (e.g. process, pipelines / layout, safety, cost estimate, structural, etc) to provide environmental technical inputs on a variety of projects for public and private clients in the EU and overseas.

Responsibilities include:
- Identification and interpretation of relevant regulations and standards (Eu and international)
- Executing environmental studies and assessments including but not limited:
- Application of the environmental impact assessment process;
- Environmental Management;
- Best Available Techniques in line with regulatory and client specific requirements
- Carbon Footprint Assessment / GHG Studies / LCA
- Support to ENVIDs
- ESG Assessments and Roadmaps
- Emissions and Sustainability Reporting
- Development of relevant deliverables with high quality
- Perform all reasonable job tasks required by line manager
Required Skills/ Experience:
The successful applicant must
- Have a master degree in a relevant science, engineering or environmental subject
- Have an awareness of environmental legislation
- Have an awareness of the environmental impact assessment process
- Have an awareness of energy industry sustainability goals and initiatives
- Be a strong team player
- Be well-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
- Have excellent written skills with attention to detail.
- Must have good communication and presentation skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly excel
- Must be able to interpret, organise, and execute assignments, as well as support PM / lead engineer in coordinating the environmental team effectively.
Nice to Have:
- First experience in engineering or consultancy company
- Familiarity with ArcPro
- French language proficiency (spoken, read & written)
