HSE ENGINEER - PERMANENT – SURREY

Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for an HSE Engineer to join the team in Surrey.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Degree level Qualification as well as HSE Qualification i.e. Nebosh
- Experience: 2-4 years working for an IMCA contractor.
- Certification: Auditor and investigation certification.
- Technical Knowledge: IOGP and IMCA standards
JOB SCOPE
Purpose of the position: You will work within a Project HSE Team of 7 personnel to ensure the correct development, implementation and monitoring of the project safety management system throughout the BP NEP / NZT (Carbon Capture) Project as well as future Projects. You will continuously develop your skills to grow and advance in your career.
Responsibilities:
- Subcontractor Management and Evaluation including Supplier Document Register
- Develop and maintain Project Deliverables
- Lead Risk Management Process
- Facilitate HSE Readiness Reviews
- HSE Contract Administration
- Ensure compliance with Contractual and Regulatory Requirements
- Plan and conduct Internal HSE Audits
- Lead Investigations

WORK PATTERN: Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.
