Responsibilities:

• Further development and implementation of the global HSE strategy taking into account sector-specific requirements of the chemical industry.
• Ensure compliance with international, local and internal HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Freudenberg and Klüber standards).
• Continuous improvement and maintenance of the group-wide HSE management system.
• Conducting audits, risk assessments, and safety analyses at international sites.
• Supporting and training local HSE teams and promoting a global safety culture.
• Analyzing HSE key figures, deriving measures, and reporting to top management.
• Internal communication and contact person for external HSE audits.

Qualifications:

• Degree in chemistry, process engineering, safety engineering, or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in HSE management in the chemical or process-based industry.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legal regulations and standards (e.g., chemical law, hazardous substances regulations, environmental law).
• Experience in handling hazardous materials and implementing safety concepts in production environments.
• Strong intercultural competence and experience in working with international teams.
• Business fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30-40%).
