Description

• Implement and Maintain company HSE policy, procedures and the project HSE plan.
• Conduct HSE awareness sessions, Toolbox talks to workforce under his project on daily basis.
• Ensures that all PTW required works conducting regarding Company PTW procedures
• Ensure that all HSE risk assessment control measures are performed in a proper way
• Inspect the project under his authority regularly in daily basis to ensure that all works conducted in a safe way
• Reporting any incidents that happens in his project such as: Unsafe acts, Unsafe conditions, Near-misses or Accidents
• Has a right to stop unsafe works or nonconformity works against project HSE plan, company procedures or HSE standards
• Supervise and lead the subcontractors HSE officers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certification related to the field.

• Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience working within a similar position preferably with exposure to construction or engineering services.

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).

• Relevant experience of ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001.

• OSHA General and Construction Industries.

• Firefighting and First Aid certification.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Arabic.

• Ability to work in a fast pace, results-oriented, matrix environment under minimal supervision.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• TAQA approved HSE Engineer
