Health & Safety Officer

Hours: 22.5 Per Week

Salary: £18,664.20 (£31,107 FTE) Per Annum

Are you passionate about creating safe, compliant environments? St Luke's Hospice is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to lead and support our commitment to safety for patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

What you'll do:

Develop and review health & safety policies and procedures.

Conduct and advise on risk assessments and audits across clinical and non-clinical areas.

Deliver engaging Health and Safety training.

Investigate incidents and liaise with regulatory bodies.

Foster a culture of openness and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

IOSH Diploma 1 or equivalent

Experience in health & safety advisory roles, ideally in healthcare or hospice settings.

Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.

Skilled in training delivery and risk assessment.
